Lindsey Butterfield (Sophie Austin), as Hollyoaks fans are all too aware, is the Gloved Hand Killer.
Now he’s back in in the village and suffering from a very convenient bout of amnesia, which means that he has no idea that it was Lindsey who tried to kill him back at the hospital.
Unfortunately, it seems as if his blissful state of ignorance is coming to an end.
Which, naturally, means that Lindsey is steeling herself to kill the father of her unborn child.
It all kicks off when Lindsey discovers that Dr S'Avage's laptop (containing damning footage of her killing Ashley Davidson) has been found and restored.
And, when S'Avage's brother Dirk and sister-in-law Cindy, get their mitts on it, it’s not long before they’ve loaded up the video.
As the killer footage slowly plays out, Lindsey panics and fakes pregnancy pains in a bid to buy time.
The distraction works, with the duo quickly rushing Lindsey to hospital for a check up.
Meanwhile Freddie is also at the hospital - for very different reasons - and viewers finally get what they’ve been waiting for.
Yup, Freddie gets a flashback to the dark moment his ex tried to bump him off with a lethal injection - but has he remembered enough to save himself from her clutches?
Viewers will have to wait and see, but it's safe to say that Lindsey isn’t about to wait around to see if he’s going to shop her to the police or not.
Cue her filling up a syringe and preparing to silence Freddie forever.
Will she finally get the result she wants this time?
But is he out to stifle his competition? Or does he want to team up with Lindsey for a sick killing spree?
Sophie Austin told the Daily Star: "Without giving too much away there are some really amazing scenes.
“The writing's been absolutely amazing.
“They could be teaming up, there could be some aggression. There's gonna be twists and turns and shocks."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
