Indiana Jones is one of those film franchises we can sit down and enjoy over and over again, no matter what time of day it is.
It's probably got a little something to do with scenes like these…
But, after Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, we figured we weren't going to be seeing anymore Indie antics for a very, very long time. After all, Harrison Ford had married the love of his life and settled down for a life of simple pleasures - what else was left to say?
A lot, apparently, because studio bosses are reportedly looking to refresh the franchise - and replace 71-year-old Harrison Ford with a brand new heartthrob.
Top of the list of potentials? None other than Robert Pattinson!
One Los Angeles insider said to the Daily Star: “Disney is looking at its long-term options for the Indiana Jones franchise.
“They feel that the series has huge potential on many levels, starting with the films leading to other spin-offs like games which can generate more money than movies.
“Rob is top of the initial list because he has showed his acting stripes away from Twilight.
“But the competition will be stiff.”
Who would you like to see replace Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones? Would RPattz be your top choice? Or would you prefer the studio to leave the old films alone?
