Channel 4 bosses have confirmed a ‘one-off’ special of Gogglebox, featuring just kids!
Producers are reportedly looking for children up to the age of 13 for the Christmas special, and we think it has the potential to become television gold!
With original Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffat becoming one of the show’s biggest breakout stars, it’s understandable that show bosses are looking for more opinionated youngsters.
The lucky chosen TV critic prodigies will be asked to comment on the biggest telly events of the year, including the X Factor, Great British Bake Off and all the biggest TV scandals from the past 12 months.
Creative director Tim Harcourt said: “We have seen that kids say the funniest things on TV, and this version of the Channel 4 hit will allow school children from different backgrounds to do this as they react to their screens – big and small.
“We think that this Christmas special will show more than their views on visual content and TV today, it will reveal how they see the world around them.”
This is already going to be one of our festive viewing highlights!
