A dramatic new trailer has been released showing the suspects in the frame for Robert’s attempted murder and, as expected, the list of names is a long one.
Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert, said: “At the point when he’s shot, everyone has made it clear that they don’t like [him].
“Chas has told him to drop dead, his relationship with Andy is irreparable, Aaron has made it apparent that he doesn’t like him and Lawrence finds out that Robert orchestrated the raid at Home Farm. So all of Robert’s relationships are at the end of their tether.”
Leading up to Robert’s shooting, he clashes with just about everybody. Andy in particular has had enough, after coming to the shocking realisation that his brother was involved with wife Katie’s death.
When it looks like Robert has managed to get himself off the hook for his sister-in-law’s death, Andy is understandably furious.
Chrissie has lost everything since discovering Robert’s affair with Aaron. She’s now facing trial for the helicopter crash, after attempting to blow up her estranged husband’s car as punishment.
So when Chas slips up about the location of a gun, could Chrissie be tempted to get the ultimate revenge?
Not only does Chas know where to get a gun, she makes it clear she wants Robert to pay for everything he’s put her son Aaron through. Aaron, after spending months battling guilt over knowing how Katie really died, is finally seeing Robert for the man he really is.
It soon dawns on him that Chas wants Robert out of all of their lives for good – so will he take care of things to save his mum?
Leading up Robert’s shooting, Chas warns him to leave the Village if he values his life.
But Robert isn’t interested in anything Chas has to say. Minutes later, he’s laying on the ground with a bullet in his chest.
