Emmerdale New Year spoilers: Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd are partners in crime

Priya is full of excitement for her upcoming nuptials and is in full wedding-planning mode when she thinks of an idea to make things extra special.

When Priya asks Elliot to help her contact Al's parents to invite them, El worries her meddling might expose something she won't want to see.

An excited Priya rings a number she's found of Al's, thinking it's his adoptive parents, but soon she's confronted with his mystery other woman...

Elsewhere, Chas and Paddy are basking in the warmth of their own recent wedding, and Chas wonders if it's time she made up with Charity.

One villager who isn't feeling quite so warm and festive this year is Marlon, who confides in Paddy that he's feeling lonely this Christmas.

When Rhona suggests to Marlon that he spend New Years at her place, Marlon's delighted to have someone to share it with.

Bundled up and warming themselves with some red wine, Marlon and Rhona chat the night away and there's a flicker of attraction between them.

Meanwhile, Charity and Mackenzie's alliance steps up a gear when out on the road, Charity flags down a lorry driver, pretending she's broken down.

While the lorry driver's under the hood, their plan backfires and Charity panics and ends up whacking him on the head with a spanner.

While the driver is out cold, Charity and Mack attempt to make quick work of shifting through his cargo and flirt outrageously.

But just as they're about to lock lips, the driver comes round and threatens them with a baseball bat. Thankfully, Aaron comes to their rescue.

Back in the village, Kim is determined to get Mack on side and makes an offer he can't refuse, on the condition he brings down Cain.

But Mack's scheming has taken on a life of it's own and he's soon propositioned Aaron to shift some stolen motor gear in exchange for a kickback.

After their chat Mackenzie spots Kim access her safe and despite acting interested in an allyship, quietly marks it for robbery.

Meanwhile, Andrea tells Jamie that he can have Millie for New Years but doesn't want Kim there, leaving Kim fuming when she finds out.

Following his discovery about the safe, Mack arranges to meet Charity and break into Home Farm, but one of them will betray the other.

Not wanting to spoil his New Year with Millie by flouting Andrea's rules, Jamie and Dawn arrange to look after her but soon she's gone missing under their charge.

Mandy's clearly excited for a booze New Year's Eve with her family of three but Vinny isn't so sure with Paul's secret still hanging in the air.

A dismissive Paul tells Vinny to stop fretting and that he'll tell Mandy about his addiction in due course and to let them enjoy New Year.

But Vinny is sick of covering for his dad and decides that if he doesn't come clean tonight then he'll tell Mandy all about his secret gambling shame.
