It’s been a pretty tough few months for Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), but, following the return of her boyfriend Martin Fowler (James Bye), we thought that things were finally on the up.

At the moment, the mum-of-two is happily planning her wedding to Martin and finally feeling on top of her postpartum psychosis.
As a result, she decides to invite Belinda, Kyle, Jean and Ollie over for lunch the next day.
But things don’t go as planned when Jean, convinced that Kyle is lying about who he is, begins to interrogate him about his past.
It isn’t long before Kyle feels backed into a corner, and he finally reveals the truth about his past.
However Jean, still incensed, continues to question Kyle, leaving Stacey horrified by her mum’s cruel behaviour.
The pretty brunette winds up revealing her wedding date in a desperate bid to get her family in a celebratory mood.
Unfortunately for Stacey, however, her words have little effect on them - and she’s left feeling overwhelmed when Belinda drops a shock bombshell of her own.
Throw in the fact that Martin is struggling to hide his financial woes from his wife-to-be, and you have a recipe for disaster.
Can the young couple overcome all obstacles to finally meet their happy ever after?
