WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

Viewers have seen Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) acting very strangely over the last few weeks after she tore up the charity cheque for the naked Walford calendar.

And, after she placed a furtive phone call, viewers quickly became convinced that she had booked herself in for plastic surgery.

Now her friends and family are also set to become suspicious, after Sonia fails to return home on time after going away.

When she finally gets back, Carol is quick to notice how pale and sickly Sonia looks, but her daughter insists she’s been feeling the pressure of not meeting her weight target at Fat Blasters.

In fact, she claims, she has just returned from a boot camp where she tried to lose a few extra pounds and has probably overdone it.

But, later in the week, Sonia confides in friend Tina, telling her what she actually did with the charity money - before heading off to a Fat Blasters meeting.

At the weigh-in, it is quickly revealed that Sonia has lost the most weight out of the group and everyone applauds her, before they head over to The Vic. However, the guilt becomes too much for an increasingly-unwell Sonia and she decides to make a speech to confess everything.

But, as she begins, Sonia's health takes a turn for the worst and suddenly collapses.

As paramedics are called in, they question everyone about Sonia's health and Tina is forced to speak up and admits the truth, but what has Sonia done?
