There’s no point denying it; Lucas Johnson - played by the talented Don Gilet - was one of the most terrifying villains to ever set foot in Walford.
Now the EastEnders press office have confirmed that the murderous preacher WILL return for spring 2016.
And he won’t be alone, either…
Jordan Johnson, played by newly cast Joivan Wade, is also set to make an astonishing return to EastEnders in the coming weeks.
Worried about reports of her step-son’s bad behaviour, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) is set to become obsessed with tracking Jordan down.
Desperate for answers, she decides to make contact with her imprisoned serial killer ex-husband, Lucas. And now, searching for Jordan, Denise doesn’t know what she’s letting herself in for.
A spokesperson for the BBC One soap said: “Jordan left Walford in 2010 to live with his aunt but returns an angry and damaged young man who will turn Denise and her family’s lives upside down.
“Denise can still see the good in her step-son but viewers will be left fearing that volatile Jordan takes very much after his father.
“As Denise makes inroads with Jordan, we will all fear that she’s putting herself, her family and the entire Square in danger.”
Eep - it sounds as if Lucas won’t be behind bars for long.
And, with both Lucas and Jordan back, Denise will be forced to face a very difficult and life changing new chapter in her life.
Will she get out of it alive?
Speaking about his new role, Jiovan said: “Coming into EastEnders is an absolute dream. Jordan is going through a very tough time and needs people in his corner but with a Dad like Lucas will he be able to trust anyone?
“It’s going to be brilliant to play him and I can’t wait to get started."
