Despite this, however, Jay manages to enjoy his day - especially when boss / honorary dad Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) gives him a positive reference for his next job.

But the happy atmosphere is ruined when Walford police arrive at the Queen Vic's barbecue to question a new suspect - will the secret that Jay has been keeping about the night of Lucy's murder come to light?
