Halloween will be even more terrifying than normal in Albert Square this year.
Show bosses have been teasing an unmissable hour-long episode on October 30, which sees Halloween turn into a shocking fright night that few people on Albert Square will forget in a hurry.
The majority of the episode will be focused on Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Phil (Steve McFadden) and Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid), as they endure a night of terror at the hands of evil Gavin.
But it seems as if the night is going to take a haunting turn for Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Martin (James Bye), too.
Pregnant Stacey and her unborn baby’s life will be left hanging in the balance when she suffers a nasty electric shock during a Halloween party at her flat.
And, as she is rushed into intensive care, it quickly transpires that the accident was the fault of Lee Carter (Danny-Boy Hatchard).
Despite Whitney (Shona McGarty)’s attempts to comfort the fragile former soldier, it seems as if the guilt will prove to be too much for Lee.
Will he ever be able to forgive himself if anything happens to Stacey or her baby?
Speaking about the special ‘fright night’ episode, show boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins told Digital Spy: "We're really proud of this episode. Over the years, we've started making Halloween a bigger thing - and getting scarier and scarier and scarier! This hour-long episode is a little bit special.
"Over the next few months, you're going to see a lot of big things. The Halloween episode kicks off a lot of big stories, including big stuff for Sharon, Phil, Stacey and Martin."
He added teasingly: “There's a lot of things that are kick-started in the episode, so over the next few months, they're the people to watch."
Anyone else VERY excited for Halloween all of a sudden?
