The drama comes after the Queen Vic landlord finally learns the truth about his childhood sweetheart's rape - and will reportedly go on a violent rampage as a result.

An EastEnders insider told The Sun: “This is going to be one of the most explosive episodes in EastEnders history.

“Viewers will be stunned by just how mad Mick goes.”

The source added: “When he [Mick] learns what happened to the woman he adores, he finds it impossible to control himself…

“He goes berserk and picks up the Queen Vic bust and hurls it into the bar before smashing the place up.”

Danny has already hinted at these scenes, and in a recent interview, he promised that in portraying Mick’s devastation over the news that Linda was raped, he will “go nuclear”.

Well, as previously reported, Matt DI Angelo - who plays the rapist - has hinted that his character will be 'sacrificed' so that justice can be served.

He said: “If we have to sacrifice Dean as a much-loved character for [justice to be served], then so be it.”
