As EastEnders viewers will already be well aware, Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) has been wrestling with her guilty conscience ever since her step-daughter, Lucy Beale, was killed on Good Friday 2014.
And, over the past few weeks, both Sharon (Letitia Dean) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) have lifted the lid on her big secret; Bobby Beale is the one who bumped Lucy off on that fateful night.
With Max Branning (Jake Wood) on trial for Lucy’s murder, however, it seems as if Jane can’t let her BFF’s ex-husband go down for a crime he did not commit.
Taking the witness stand, despite Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) begging her not to, Jane steels herself and shocks everyone with a revelation that could change everything.
But just what is it that she has revealed? And what will the consequences be for Max and the Beales?
One thing’s for sure, with Jake Wood bowing out of the soap for a year-long break, we know that SOMETHING is going to inspire him to leave Albert Square.
But will he be heading to prison for a murder he didn't commit?
Or will he be disappearing on a holiday, in a desperate attempt to help him come to terms with the fact that BOTH of his daughters were prepared to see him go down?
Either way, we guess we’d better ready ourselves for a classic Walford trial, packed full of shock twists and turns.
