Eastenders viewers have seen a lot of unlikely romances; Stacey Slater and Bradley Branning, Denise and Fatboy even Patrick Trueman and Pat Butcher's affair surprised us.
But it's about to get a whole lot crazier next week when Patrick begins to think that his long-time friend Dot Cotton fancies him.
We wouldn't be surprised, Dot gave everyone a shock when she murdered her son Nick Cotton last year. However we're pretty sure no one predicted Dot would date Patrick - Jim's best friend.
Other than Dot's first husband Charlie Cotton, Jim Branning was the love of her life. Jim passed away in the show after the actor John Bardon - who played Jim Branning - passed away in 2014 from illness.
And ever since Dot has remained single, however that may change soon.
Dot and Patrick have been friends forever but after Kim Fox (played by Tameka Empson) suggests that Dot may like Patrick, he begins to wonder whether Dot fancies him.
And when Dot asks Patrick over for a home-cooked dinner he assumes it's a date, but is it?
