Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) is about to have his life changed forever.
He may already know that Shabnam Masood (Rakhee Thakrar) fell pregnant and gave birth to a baby after their one-night stand years ago, but he has, so far been, left to believe that his daughter had died shortly afterwards.
However, as viewers are well aware, that is absolutely not true; Shabnam gave birth to a healthy baby and, terrified, abandoned her on her aunt’s doorstep.
After witnessing a suspicious conversation between Buster and Shabnam’s father, Masood, Dean decides to confront his dad about what is really going on.
Buster is left with no choice but to come clean about the truth when his son confronts him – that the girl is still alive and he knows where she lives.
Dean announces that he is going to find his little girl and introduce himself - but Shirley (Linda Henry) arrives and tells him that his daughter was adopted years ago.
Worse still? There’s absolutely no way of contacting her, either.
How will Dean react to the news? And, more importantly, is Shirley telling the truth?
We guess we’ll have to wait and see…
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, June 15 at 8pm on BBC One.
