EastEnders fans will, like us, be desperate to know what’s happening in Walford for Christmas and New Year.
And it seems as if, once again, the festivities will largely be focused on Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
Speaking on this Saturday’s Jonathan Ross Show on ITV, Danny teased the high-adrenaline episodes.
And, despite insisting he couldn’t tell fans too much about what writers have in store, he DID let quite a few big plot points slip.
He said: "I'm not allowed to give too much away. They said, 'We're gonna leave you this Christmas because last year we put it on you', but New Year's Day, here we f***ing go.”
Teasing the events of Mick and Linda’s long-awaited wedding, he said: “It's an EastEnders wedding so it's f***ed straight away, it's not going to be happy but it's another gift for me as an actor.
"I have to wear a wetsuit so that says something, there's water involved! It starts off lovely and then goes a bit bandy."
And, as if that wasn’t juicy enough, Danny added: "It's dark but it resolves a certain storyline with my missus.
"I have to get in the water, there's something in the water and I get in to sort it out."
That suggests that all those rumours about Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) being killed off this Halloween aren’t true; perhaps he’ll be able to hang on until Christmas, eh?
Danny added: "If I tell you now what happens then I will get nothing but aggro as soon as I walk off the stage and get sacked."
