Bobby Beale

Bobby Beale is a very naughty boy, quite honestly. Or, to wrote Danny Dyer, a “shifty little mug”.

After all, he DID murder his sister Lucy.

And it seems as if the murderous schoolboy could be about to attack none other than Phil Mitchell, going at him with a golf club in scenes to be shown this evening.

No, we’re not kidding.Actual Phil Mitchell and Bobby Beale are going to have a showdown - and it's all over (you guessed it!) Lucy Beale's death.

When Phil discovers that Jane kept Lucy's phone, instead of handing it over as evidence, he furiously heads over to the Beale house to have it out with her.

But, as the Walford favourite demands an explanation from Jane, Bobby “I Like To Hit People With Music Boxes” Beale walks in.

Desperate to protect his beloved mum, he grabs one of his dad’s golf clubs and warns Phil to get away from her.

But just how far will Bobby go to protect Jane?

Well, whatever happens, we do know that this is going to be the start of a big storyline for little Bobby.

Speaking openly with Digital Spy last year, show boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins revealed that the aim of the storyline is to make people think “what they would do if they were the parent.”

He said: “What would do if you found out one of your children accidentally killed the other?

“Is Bobby evil? Did he make a mistake?”

He then continued to hint that Bobby, who was never made to see the consequences of his actions when he accidentally killed his half-sister, Lucy, could go on to hurt someone else.

Dominic made it clear that the next chapter in Bobby’s story will be “all about parenthood” - and hinted that the return of Bobby’s grandmother, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), would be an added element to “throw into the mix”.

He added firmly: “Part one of the story is done; there is a lot more to tell!”
