It’s official, EastEnders fans; Halloween is going to be bigger than ever this year.
Yup, final schedules have revealed that an extended episode of the show will air on Friday, October 30 from 7.30pm on BBC One.
That’s 60 minutes of pure adrenaline, fear, and drama.
So what’s going to happen?
Well, last year we watched as Nick Cotton (John Altman) returned to Albert Square with a wicked plan up his leather sleeve.
Plus there was THAT little incident with Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) and Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald).
You know… the apple bobbing incident?
Ah, Bad Abi.
This year we’re not sure what to expect - but we DO know that the Mitchell family is going to be heavily involved.
EastEnders star Harry Reid recently hinted that his character Ben Mitchell will be manipulated by the show's new villain Gavin Sullivan.
The very same Gavin (Paul Nicholas) who has kidnapped Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
Harry told Digital Spy: "We have to remember he was Ben's stepdad and father figure for years. He grew up with him and there will be a lot of love there.
"Ben came back a happy child, so you think Gavin is a perfect dad as he helped create that kid. There's a real connection there between them, having spent time together and loved each other."
Teasing the Halloween episode, he added: "It's bad, it's really bad. It's potentially life-changing for the Square, for the Mitchell family, and you will be shocked."
EastEnders continues on Thursday (October 15) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
