EastEnders fans were glued to their sets during last night’s thrilling episode.

But, during one particularly tense moment between Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), the sound cut out completely, leaving viewers on a VERY annoying cliffhanger.

And it didn’t take them long to make their way to Twitter and let rip.

From demanding an official apology from the BBC, to asking for their TV license money back, it seems as if a little quirk with the sound can go a LONG way towards tipping people over the edge.

Check it out:

Shortly afterwards, a Twitter user called Celeste, posted: "Come on EastEnders cutting the sound and apology from the voice over lady, was she not watching or what?"

If you ARE wondering what Ronnie said to Linda, however, we may be able to help.

Are you ready for this?

Ronnie’s planning to bump off Dean (Matt Di Angelo)!

All Linda needs to do is give her the word…

And it seems as if, whatever the Vic’s landlady decides, Dean will be disappearing from Albert Square in the not-so-distant future.

“Matt’s exit will be explosive. Viewers are in for a nail-biting treat,” a soap insider teased to The Mirror.

Were you bothered by last night’s sound glitch? Or do you think viewers are overreacting?
