As many Coronation Street fans will already be aware, murderous Rob Donovan is heading back to Weatherfield very soon.
And it spells BIG trouble for his sister, Carla Connor (Alison King), and his former lover, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford).
Speaking to The Sun's TV Soap magazine, show boss Stuart Blacburn opened up about the repercussions of Rob’s return.
"It's a relatively short-term [return]," he explained, "but you'd be amazed what a bored guy on the inside – who wants money and vengeance – can do when he puts his mind to it.
“He's had a lot of time to think things through while he's been in prison, and Carla and Tracy remain in his sights. After all, these are the two women that got him sent down."
He added: "Rob has lost a lot of his humanity and he's got nothing left to lose. He becomes a puppet master and that's going to be a disaster for the Connor family."
Rob, who was last seen on our screens in November 2014, is currently behind bars for the murder of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Heaton).
And, in upcoming weeks, he will decide to start shaking up life on the Street when he sends out visiting orders for all the people who played a role in his downfall.
Speaking of his shock Coronation Street comeback, Marc Baylis commented: "I can't wait to play Rob again and see what he has up his sleeve. One thing is certain - prison won't stop Rob from affecting lives on the street."
