Great British Bake off fans were left shocked after bookies favourite Marie Campbell was eliminated from the show.
The Scottish baker disappointed judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood after making ‘non-uniform’ Biscotti Italiano and failing to meet the requirements of the biscuit box challenge.
The 66-year-old had a MAJOR disaster with her oven during the hour long episode after she failed to se the right timing. As a result she only had half of the required biscuits for Mary and Paul.

Marie’s shock exit comes just a week after she was named ‘star baker’ for her Black Forest gateau, Madeira cake and walnut cake.
Her success lead to her being named one of the bookies favourites, but also faced a backlash when it was revealed that she had received formal training.
Marie trained at the Ecole Escoffier at the Paris Ritz during the 80s, but sadly her expert training couldn’t save her on this instance.
On her departure from the show, Marie graciously said: “Every moment was a fabulous experience for me. Some grannies want to bungee jump, but for me it was always to get on Bake Off.”
