When we first learned that ITV would be bringing back iconic Real Housewives of Cheshire stars from seasons past for the long-awaited ten-year anniversary season, we assumed they'd asked two or three ex Housewives to pop back to film a glamorous scene or two here and there (you know, like how Tanya Bardsley and Ampika Pickston only pop back for holidays and lavish parties). We never thought they'd be coming back to fully immerse themselves themselves in the Cheshire drama again.
Especially when the three Housewives returning were recently revealed to be Leanne Brown, Debbie Davies and Nermina Pieters-Mekic (as well as current guest Housewives Tanya, Ester Dee and Hanna Kinsella) – of course, those three aren't ones to shy away from the drama, but they're also not ones to necessarily bring it, if memory serves.

But we might have judged at least one of these returning Housewives too quickly, as psychic medium Debbie has teased that there's a chance you'll see her actively 'not speaking' to certain cast members in scenes this series, which massively set off drama alarm bells in our heads.
When asked why she wanted to return to the show, she exclusively told Closer online, 'I chose to return to the show this year because the actual filming of it is such an amazing experience, the crew, the girls, the laughs we have.'

She then added, 'Obviously, sometimes you’re not speaking to someone but that’s just normal and we’re all used to it.'
While Debbie didn't name names, this has given us hope that perhaps – just perhaps – the returning Housewives returned to PLAY for the milestone series. If we had to fathom a guess, Debbie's perhaps talking about Rachel Lugo (remember when Rachel got the hump with Debbie in Edinburgh when she revealed that Rachel was a maid in her past life?) and Nicole Sealey from the current cast, both of whom she came to blows with during her short stint on the show.

Debbie continued, 'It feels so exciting to be back in the saddle with The Real Housewives of Cheshire, especially as I’m no longer the stressed housewife that I was during the pandemic.
'I’ve changed so much since the last time I featured on the show, I’m stronger mentally and have done a lot of work on myself. I didn’t realise how much the death of my cousin from COVID affected [me]. I’m more confident, and have a calmer mind thanks to also starting on HRT.'
Speaking of her life after first quitting the show at the end of 2021, the returning Housewife added, 'Life has been hectic after appearing on Real Housewives of Cheshire, I have done my first ghost stage show and [I'm] planning a new podcast called Life Beyond The Grave that will launch soon. We have also welcomed more grandchildren into the world as well as 6 sheep.'
Debbie took over from the legendary Dawn Ward when she left at the end of series 12 (some big shoes to fill), joining the cast for the start of series 13 in spring 2021. She took part in series 13 and 14 of the hit ITVBe show before quitting. She appeared as a guest in series 15.
