As with every season of Love Island, there are always those contestants who fail to strike up a romance, and sadly, bombshell Shea Mannings was one of this year's casualties.

The series 12 alumni joined the show alongside Remell Mullins (who was also recently dumped) but after two weeks of well, nothing, he was sent packing.
Shea was in a couple with Helena Ford, but when she chose to couple up with Giorgio Russo after The Sleepover Shea was left single and dumped from the Spanish villa.
Now that he is out of the villa and back in the UK, Closer caught up with Shea to chat all things dating show related and that includes his connection to Love Island host Maya Jama. Yep.
'So, I've never met Maya until last night, me and her brother know of each other,' he explained, as if Maya being pals with your bro isn't pretty cool.

'I wouldn't say we're friends, but yeah, we definitely have a lot of mutuals,' he explained.
We're surprised Shea kept this quiet; usually the cast LOVE to go on about any connection they have to a celeb IRL. Marcel 'Rocky B' Sommerville dropped the news that he was part of Blazin' Squad practically once an hour during his first stint on Love Island back in 2017.
And not forgetting how Jack Fincham could barely contain himself when he realised his soon-to-be- girlfriend Dani Dyer was the daughter of Danny Dyer.

'I grew up in the same area,' he went on, 'so yeah, it was good to catch up with Maya last night.'
Not the first name terms with THE Maya Jama. We can only dream.
WATCH : Shea vs Blu fighting in the Love Island villa would have been interesting 😂
