We were over the moon when it was announced that old school Love Island star Scott Thomas would be returning the villa after nine years for the second series of All Stars back in January, but sadly his stint didn’t exactly go as a planned and he ended up quitting the show.
Scott decided to walk after failing to find a spark with either India Reynolds or Tina Stinnes but it seems that didn’t put him off dating other Islanders as he was linked to Joey Essex’s Love Island 2024 ex Jessy Potts just a few months later.
However, things didn’t work out between Scott and Jessy and it was revealed last month that they’d called things off just weeks after being spotted outside a hotel together. In the wake of the split, Scott has opened up about removing ‘energy zappers’ from his life in a candid post.

In a video posted to TikTok, Scott told his followers, ‘Be really careful and conscious about the people you are spending your time with or even having conversations with because there’s certain people in my life, right, who are just energy zappers.
‘It’s took me this long to realise that I need to spend less time with them and some of them could be your best friends that you’ve known for years, right, that you love to be pieces because you’ve been through so much together, but now your vibrating in a different frequency they don’t like it and they can’t relate to the positive energy you’re putting out there.’
The Love Island 2016 star, who previously dated Kady McDermott, continued, ‘They’ll try and keep you in the familiar and they’ll try and keep you where you are because it makes them feel comfortable and safe.
‘So make sure you have got big dreams and aspirations, you are talking to the right people about them, because if you put those ideas and dreams in the wrong hands, people try to make you think small, they try to keep you where you are.
‘You don’t need that sh*t, you need people around you who are going to make you feel f**king motivated, inspired, empowered, so be really concious and aware of where you’re giving your energy, the type of people you’re letting in and build a really strong social circle around you.’

According to reports, Jessy and Scott decided ‘they were better off as friends’ and ‘weren't compatible on a romantic level.’
A source told The Sun, ‘Jessy is keen to find a boyfriend who is ready to commit and who is emotionally available. She's been single for a while now and is hoping she'll find a new man that will tick all her boxes.’
The 2024 Islander also opened up about her love life on the White Fox After Hours podcast and admitted she’d be dating men who were ‘older’ but not always ‘wiser’.
