As jealous as we are that our fave Love Island stars are currently enjoying 30°C temperatures in the middle of January, we have clocked something about the South African weather around this time of year – the winds are winding. It seems to be giving music video wind machine every time the girls gather around the fire pit after 7pm.
It's actually somewhat distracting; we keep thinking one blustery blow and a fabulous bouncy blow dry will quickly turn a bombshell into Cousin It from the Addams family (we're growing increasingly worried for Harriett Blackmore, tbh – that's A LOT of hair).
But somehow, these 'dos are staying in perfect place in the All Stars villa... and recently dumped queen Olivia Hawkins has kindly revealed the girls' secret to indestructible villa hair.

Several days after being brutally dumped from the villa with alongside her Love Island bae Marcel Somerville, Liv has her phone back and the content is coming in fast and thick.
In a recent post for Boots (the official beauty partner of Love Island), Liv went into detail about cheap as chips product that she used to ensure her iconic mane stayed in pride of place, regardless of the intense South African evening winds. And when we say cheap as chips, we mean £5.99 for a long-lasting tub, baby. See, they're just like us.

Olivia told her followers, 'The evenings can sometimes get super windy in South Africa, so I've always got my Eco Styling Gel on hand. I absolutely love this gel. It's perfect for a slick-back look and will keep your hair in place for honestly hours.'

According to the Boots website, the Eco Style Argan Oil Styling Gel (the one Liv is holding in her video) is just £5.99 and 'formulated to nourish and add shine.'
Liv's go-to is 'enriched with natural Argan Oil and wheat protein, this conditioning formula helps control frizz by sealing hair shafts to maintain moisture and provide flexible hold, making it the perfect styler to enhance, sculpt and define all hair types and textures.'
Consider this in our baskets and hair.
Take that, Storm Éowyn.
