The latest series of Love Island kicked off last night and there’s already some serious drama brewing after Love Island 2025’s first bombshell Toni Laites entered the villa and stole Ben Holbrough, leaving Shakira Khan at risk of being dumped.
But, not to be outdone, Love Island 2019 legend Maura Higgins has hit the headlines for some drama of her own after unfollowing her rumoured rival Olivia Attwood on Instagram.
Maura and Olivia have been rumoured to be feuding for a while now, but things took a turn earlier this year when Maura split from Olivia’s pal Pete Wicks (who she’s also unfollowed).

Maura and Pete split back in February just weeks after reportedly spending Christmas together in Ireland and the Love Island star turned TV presenter hinted things weren’t amicable when she made aimed a ‘cheating’ jibe at the former TOWIE lothario.
When a pap asked where Pete was as she left a restaurant, Maura replied, ‘Dunno, probably out cheating.’
Olivia then joked about Maura’s comments at the BRIT Awards after Pete said, ‘It's hard for Sam Thompson tonight because I've got a new work wife. But, he's not far away, he's over there actually. It is a little bit weird because it feels like I am...’
‘Cheating?’, Olivia laughed.

The Love Island 2017 star later hit back at claims she was making light of cheating when she told her social media followers, ‘Cheating's not funny. Pete didn't cheat. That is the joke. Hope that helps.’
But the rumoured tension between Maura and Olivia dates back before her relationship with Pete as Olivia has previously accused an unnamed Islander of ‘copying’ her.

In a cryptic Instagram post, Olivia wrote, ‘One day I'm going to write a book and some of the stuff I have managed to keep [zipped mouth emoji] on over the years. It will blow your f***ing mind.
‘You can try to hire all the same people, regurgitate my stories as your own, study the playbook, follow the recipe blah blah blah, but it will NEVER taste the same. That's all.’
Although Olivia has never revealed exactly who she was talking about, some fans thought that she could be indirecting Maura, who has previously hired the same publicity company as Olivia and followed in her footsteps by appearing on I’m A Celebrity.
