Love Island just keep the twist coming this year, don’t they? From Shannon Singh getting the boot after just 48 hours to Brad McClelland’s decision to sacrifice himself so Lucinda Strafford could stay in the villa, we’ve had some seriously shocking moments and last night’s episode was no exception.
Following a dramatic recoupling which saw Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran reunite and Abi Rawlings accidentally steal Mary Bedford’s man Dale Mehmet, the public were tasked with voting for their favourite couple.
The couples with the least public votes were then revealed to be Hugo Hammond and Amy Day, Tyler Cruickshank and Clarisse Juliette and Sam Jackson and Mary Bedford. Not all of them will be dumped from the villa though, instead the girls must choose one boy to save and vice versa.
A cliffhanger at the end of the episode means we have to wait until tonight to find out who will be packing their bags, but some fans are convinced they’ve already worked out who will be dumped after spotting a major clue.
After questioning their connection last night, eagle-eyed viewers think Hugo and Amy could be the ones to leave after noticing that Faye Winter appeared to roll her eyes while Amy was discussing their relationship troubles.
“He hasn’t been overly trying with me. It’s also hard for me to think, ‘Does he actually like me or has he just settled?’ I’m used to being with people that want to hug me in the daytime and want to just sit and chill and talk to me, and I don’t think he does that,” she vented to the girls.

Faye then exclaimed that Hugo’s behaviour was “so weird”. Does this mean that the girls would be more likely to send him and Amy home?
Others have also said that the Islanders could be more likely to save Tyler and Mary as they have love interests in the villa.
Last night’s episode saw Kaz Kamwi admit “the door is still open” for her former flame, while Mary and Dale kissed after admitting they were upset that they couldn’t couple up together.

In other Love Island news, it was revealed last night that the Islanders have photos of themselves as the wallpaper on their phones and fans aren’t quite sure what to make of it.
It’s likely that it's just a regulation wallpaper that all of the Islanders get given to distinguish whose phone is whose but, still, imagine staring at yourself in a bikini all the livelong day.
“I actually couldn't deal with my phone screen being a photo of me 😅 I know it's so they know who's phone is who's but it's such an odd thing 🤢,” tweeted one viewer.
Another added, “I actually couldn't deal with my phone screen being a photo of me,” while a third asked, “Why is Tyler’s phone background a photo of himself?’
