Love Island 2023 provided us with some absolute delights when it opened its door to the Casa Amor bombshells.
One of those is Layla Al-Momani, who entered the villa alongside five other bombshells and, after sharing a fleeting romance with Will Young, Layla did NOT hold back when it came to the re-coupling.
Clearly a true girls' girl, Layla stuck up for pal Cynthia Otsei-Taiwo when Casey O’Gorman decided to stick with Claudia Fogarty despite getting 'on job’ with the bombshell. Remember the straddle? We certainly do.
Layla was also left out in the cold when Farmer Will decided to stick with Jessie Wynter which meant the Casa Amor star didn't make it into the main villa.
Since leaving the villa, Layla has been the gift that keeps on giving and, on the most recent episode of Closer's Love Island Secrets, Layla confessed some, well, Love Island secrets.
We all know that the Islanders have to practically eat their meals in silence and the boys and girls are separated but is the food even remotely yum?
“The food is good,” Layla admitted and considering all we see them eat is fruit and sometimes a questionable meal that the boys have made, we are low-key surprised by this.
Other former Islanders have chatted about the food in the villa and just recently Zara Lackenby-Brown divulged a certain edible item that is banned.
Layla admitted that she was lucky in one respect as she was living off a plant-based diet.
“I was having vegan food every day. I was the only one. They really accommodated for it; I had a separate little meal which is nice.
"I got more food than anybody else I think because I had a whole thing.”
Layla might not have found true romance when she headed off to South Africa but it looks like she did manage to wangle an all-inclusive sunny holiday so not all bad.
