Anyone who watched the most recent episode of Love Island (6 February 2025) no doubt has thoughts on that rather chaotic game of Spin the Bottle that sent the All Stars villa into absolute chaos. After Grace Jackson told Luca Bish, who she is currently in a couple with, 'yeah, kiss someone during the game as long as it's NOT Samie [Elishi]' Luca then went, 'sure, Grace, okay,' and proceeded to, erm, kiss Samie Elishi.
Sometimes we wonder what races through their heads when they make these questionable decisions, but we shall refrain from taking sides. What is it everyone is saying over on TikTok at the moment? We listen and we don't judge.
After Grace was done calling out Luca's behavior and after he made her avocado on toast, they seemed to be back on the straight and narrow, but then you lot had to go and pick Samie to couple up with Luca and all hell broke loose again.
Grace was left fuming that her fella would be sharing a bed with the girl he DM'd prior to his All Stars stint and then subsequently kissed in a game of spin the bottle, but don't worry, as Harriett Blackmore was on hand to comfort her. Sort of.
'This doesn't change anything, you two know you have a connection,' she told Grace.
'Everyone else in the villa knows your connection,' she continued.
'Sorry to say the J word,' Harriett added, with us wondering where this was going. What 'J' word? Jealousy? Jail? Jungle? Joke? Jellyfish?
'He's not Joey [Essex.]'
We have to admit, we didn't see the former TOWIE star being dragged into the Grace x Luca x Samie situation coming.
'Do you know what I mean?' Harriett pressed on, 'he wouldn't entertain something that he didn't want to.'
Like the gossip-inducing bunch they are, the official Love Island Instagram account shared the clip on their social media page and who should comment on the video? The man, the myth, the legend that is Joey Essex.
Simply commenting a, '😳' Joey's singular emoji choice speaks a thousand words - and also gained over a thousand likes.
Joey was the first bombshell to take part in Love Island 2024 and the first ever celebrity to appear on the dating show where he caused quite a stir and clashed with nearly every person in the villa.
He coupled up with Samantha Kenny, but when Grace rocked up as a bombshell it was clear that the two had a history and Joey hinted at rekindling the romance before having his head turned, once again, by Jessy Potts.
'It's literally like repeat,' Grace wept with Ronnie Vint, of all people, throwing in some words of wisdom.
He reassured, 'It's repeat but a better ending.'
We never thought we would write these words but...let's hope Ronnie is right.
