You know those Love Island stars who are barely in the villa but we're still talking about them years later?
Yeah, series five bombshell Francesca Allen is definitely one of those reality stars.
She starred on the show alongside Amber Gill, Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins and despite recoupling with Curtis Pritchard and Michael Griffiths, she failed to find love and was booted from the villa after 12 days.
Luckily she was on series five when everyone in the UK was obsessed with the show which meant, even if you was in the villa for five days you'd still bag 200k Instagram followers - just ask Callum MacLeod who was dumped on day five.
Anyway, Francesca definitely had better luck with her love life on the outside because in 2021 she got engaged to her boyfriend Ed Crossan.
At the time she posted a photo of her fiancé down on one knee and wrote, 'The best Christmas present a girl could ask for ❤️ I’m marrying my best friend!!!!! I still can’t believe it.'
Fast forward three years and Francesca has opened up about why she avoids answering questions about her nuptials.
During an Instagram Q&A one of her followers asked, 'How are you finding wedding planning?' and Francesca was brutally honest, 'So I always avoid this question as I was never even beginning to plan anything.
'I am enjoying being engaged and am so happy with how life is atm it's crazy! However I've actually found a planner I really like and I'm really excited to get the wheels in motion.'
She added, 'Depending on venue availability etc there could be a wedding very soon. I will of course take you all along on this very fun chapter of life.'
Bring on the wedding Francesca.
We also cannot wait to see the guest list because here's hoping some of the Love Island 2019 stars will be attending... One Islander we know will defo get an invite is Elma Pazar (currently on TOWIE), who has launched a podcast with Francesca.
