When Georgia Harrison announced she was pregnant with her first baby this week, Love Island fans rejoiced. In a world of bad news, crime, and popstars being launched into space for no reason, this is just the piece of feel-good news we need.
The Love Island 2017 star first began dating her soon-to-be baby daddy Jack Stacey— who mostly stays out of the spotlight— last summer when the pair connected on a dating app. In the past, Georgia has been linked to Lauren Goodger’s ex Jake McLean, who tragically died in a car crash in 2022, as well as reality stars Joshua Ritchie, Anton Danyluk and Stephen Bear. She’s had a difficult few years after her ex-boyfriend, Stephen Bear, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for uploading footage of him and Georgia having sex without her consent.

Now, fans couldn’t be more thrilled that Georgia— who also competed on Love Island: All Stars 2024— has such great news to share, and it turns out that nobody is happier than Love Island 2018 winner, Dani Dyer.
Dani— who won her season alongside then-boyfriend Jack Fincham— sat down with Closer to discuss her latest project, a documentary called Greggs vs McDonald's: The Fast Feud that sees the two chains face-off against each other. While we could talk about Greggs all day, we just couldn’t let her go without asking her how she feels about Georgia’s news.
Dani told Closer, ‘Oh, I'm so happy for her, because she's finally got her little happily ever after and it’s so, so sweet.’
Although they weren’t on the same series of Love Island, Dani and Georgia aren’t strangers. Dani told Closer, ‘I see Georgia sometimes at the gym. God, she's so good at training. I envy the way that girl can run. When I next see her I'll definitely [say congrats]. We speak on social media, but definitely when I see her I’ll say congratulations. She'll be amazing. I feel like she's so happy and in such a good space. She really deserves that. She’ll be a cool mum! The sunglasses, the buggy.’
Greggs vs McDonald's: The Fast Feud airs on 12 May at 8pm.
