Let's be honest, when Love Island's Casey O'Gorman popped up on day two of Love Island: All Stars 2025 for his third stint on the show (after first appearing on winter Love Island 2023 and then the first All Stars) we were ALL Olivia Hawkins.
Remember when she jokingly rolled her eyes, cackled and exclaimed, 'Not again'?
All of us.

Casey has officially competed on the UK version of the show more times than any other Islander in the history of Love Island, but to be fair to him his third time was the charm, as he went to win the thing with Love Island 2017's Gabby Allen.
His success this time aside, we did all have a good laugh at the fact that Casey would be spending yet another January in South Africa courtesy of Love Island casting in his quest for love (and a winter tan).

In our cynical way, we assumed he'd signed on the dotted line for a third time for the money and the clout (touchy subject, we know), but as it turns out his reasons for returning to the show again were far more wholesome.
Casey and Gabby swung by Closer HQ earlier this week to spill the tea on their All Stars experience and Casey took the opportunity to reveal why he really returned to the villa for a third time, and it turns out, he actually turned producers down at first.

Casey exclusively told us, 'I think doing the show for the third time...I was so unsure about doing it, and I basically said no, and then the producers said, "Look, we basically want to put you in from the start. It's going to be such a different experience for you."
'I've come in two weeks into the show before and people have already made these connections, which is why I only lasted on the show for a week, a week and a half. So, for the first time ever they were like, "We want to put you in from the start," so I think I got that opportunity to actually meet someone who's not had that connection yet or formed any connections, so that was one reason.'

D'aww.
If that wasn't wholesome enough, Casey also name-dropped his Love Island bestie in his answer, explaining that All Stars 2024 winner Tom Clare eventually persuaded him to take part, telling him that it was a genuine opportunity to 'find someone' – just like he did (Tom is still with Molly Smith after winning the show with her this time last year).
Casey continued, 'Another reason was Tom [Clare] being like, "You need to do it. I've done it from the start and you could find someone like I have." So, I put my trust in Tom and was like, "Let's do it." And here we are.'

Gabby then smiled and leant her head on Casey's shoulders and, we're not going to lie, we downright beamed.
