Love Island is officially back on our screens which means we have a fresh batch of twenty-something reality telly hotties to obsess over for the next eight weeks instead of, well, dealing with our own reality. The irony that reality telly helps us escape reality reality though...
And when we say 'obsess', we really do mean that here at Closer HQ. We're OBSESSED with these Love Island 2025 lovelies and have a really good feeling about what the next few weeks might have in store for Islanders and fans alike.

As such, we've spent a good proportion of the last few days deep-diving into the social media accounts of our OGs (and first bombshell Toni Laites) ahead of the launch.
Normally this is an exercise in futility, as the majority of Islanders wipe their Instagram grids clean of anything contentious or even remotely interesting before the press/diehard LI fans get their names. Boring.

Luckily for us, however, OG Blu Chegini – who was partnered up with Alima Gagigo on day one – didn't bother doing a pre-fame social media cull and as such we've found some FASCINATING 'pre-buzz' (he's sporting a buzzcut in the villa right now) snaps of him from his modelling era and he looks like a totally different Islander.
Just take a look.
