We're only halfway through the latest series of Love Island and so far there's been some utterly wild moments.
Sophie Lee and Ryan Bannister getting dumped from the villa was absolutely savage.
Let's also not forget Harry Cooksley taking Yasmin Pettet to the Hideaway, secretly snogging her, then denying it and then confessing - wild.
However, the most shocking (and uncomfortable) moment of series 12 has definitely been the way Ben Holbrough argued with Yasmin.

After she confronted him for not being 100% honest with his feelings, Ben told her, 'I haven't really been feeling you to be fair.'
But as their conversation continued, he then told Yas, 'You're lucky Shea [Mannings] even picked you. To be fair, I think you're lucky you're even in here now.
'No one rated you when you were in here let's say. You've only come out your shell because you're in a couple with me.'

Eww.
Since then, Yas and Ben have barely been seen on screen together - except when she stuck her finger up at him during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge (lol) - but as it turns out, in an unaired scene Ben apologised to Yasmin.
Speaking about the controversial Islander, recently dumped Alima Gagigo told producers, 'I think Ben is a very misunderstood guy, he doesn’t express himself in the best way sometimes.
'In the villa you could see there was a character development to him, I think he calmed down a bit and apologised to all the girls he needed to apologise to after everything that happened.'

Err, why didn't we see this?
She went on to say, 'There’s a softer side to him, he's actually a very nice boy. He was there for me a lot in the villa, it’s a shame we didn’t get to explore things more.'
Well, things are making a little more sense now because when Alima went from putting a pie in Ben's face to snogging him after the heart race challenge, we were so confused.

She went on to tell producers, 'Ben and I had a couple of chats at the start, we actually did lock eyes on the first day but he and Shakira got on well and Remell [Mullins] came in.
'I want to see how he acts now that I’m not there and if he finds a connection. If he comes back single I would be interested in seeing if there’s something we could continue…'
Interesting indeed, Alima.
