How much do you spend per week?

I’m always in the supermarket because I cook so much, and my budget for my fiancé and I is £80-£100 per week. I go to Aldi because of the great bargains, and I enjoy going to Tesco.

Describe your daily diet…

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. I really love cream cheese – my go-to is a bagel with lots of it on top. I’ll have that with avocado and sriracha. I have to have my morning coffee every day – it helps me start my day! For lunch I tend to go for something light. I’ll have yogurt with All Bran, honey, raisins and nuts. It’s very good for your gut as well. Dinner is the main event for me because I enjoy cooking and making complicated dishes. I like to make typical Chinese dishes like salt and pepper chips, and salt and pepper chicken or chow mein. I also try to cook British food for my fiancé, like homemade fish and chips and bangers and mash.

Is there anything you refuse to eat?

I’m not a huge fan of olives – they’re too much for me. But my fiancé told me about the ‘olive theory’, which is the idea that one person in every good couple likes olives and the other hates them. He loves them and I hate them, which is a good sign.

What would you cook to impress?

I cooked a full roast dinner for my fiancé and his parents last week. It was a lot of pressure but it was so worth it!
