What are the style rules you live by?
Anything goes - if I like it, I’ll wear it (within reason).
How do you a build a look?
Usually my hair and makeup determines the vibe of my outfits because I switch it up quite a lot! If my hair is more edgy orout there, I try and match my outfit around that aesthetic. If my hair is girly and cute, like a half up half down or curls, I will usually go for a dress or skirt or something to match.
I didn’t put too much thought into it, just made sure I packed cute & flattering items that I would feel comfortable in in the heat. We were dropped clothes off every week or so, and you could swap and share with the other girls too if you wanted to.
What microtrends are you into for autumn?
y2k has definitely been my favourite trend for a while now. I think even if it goes out of style, I’ll still be its last fan standing!
If you could only wear 3 colours for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Black! I have to fight myself everyday NOT to wear black – I love black outfits because I really feel like they match every hairstyle and makeup look, and not much can go wrong with a black outfit. I also love cream and purple even though purple is my least favourite colour. I love purple clothes on me and I feel like it really compliments my skin tone.
Which wardrobe heroes do you reach for on repeat?
A black bodycon maxi dress - I know every time it sees me reaching for it, it’s thinking ‘wow again?!’ it’s perfect for literally every single occasion. Also, a patterned co-ord – I love a 2 piece set, especially a patterned one. It makes you look so put together without trying too hard
I love that AliExpress has something for everyone. I’ve shopped on AliExpress for a while now and their range of clothing is so wide and versatile; they always have items from the latest trends and I find that I can get a lot of inspiration for outfits just by browsing through the site
For which events do you rely on AliExpress the most?
I love AliExpress particularly for summer clothes. They have so many cute holiday bits from dresses to co-ords to bikinis all sorts. Clothing pieces that I wouldn’t have even thought about can be found on there; so you can really shop on AliExpress for anything - I used to get some work clothes from there, and it has also been my go-to for all things festival this year. Festival clothes, plus some ‘cant live without’ accessories which have made my time there so much easier and more enjoyable.
