According to The Sun, Che met with producers who advised him of some healthy eating and exercise plans – and he’s taken their comments on board.
A source revealed: “A conversation took place between Che and the production team about how they might be able to help him lose weight.
“They suggested a few diet and exercise ideas that he could try out, and he seemed to take their advice on board.”
The insider added: “He’s passionate about staying in the competition and is up for anything that might boost his appeal for the viewers’ voting.”
Last week Che’s fellow contestant Lauren Murray opened up about her own weight worries, admitting the other girls make her feel like she needs to tone up.
She said: “When I see other people, I think, ‘Oh my God, all the girls are so skinny. I need to lose weight’, but you’ve got to be happy with yourself.”
Last weekend another two acts left the ITV competition. Keira Weathers received the lowest public vote and was eliminated immediately, while Mason Noise and Seann Miley Moore were forced to battle it out in the live sing off.
When the judges couldn’t choose between the two boys, they sent it to deadlock and Seann was sent home.
Although Che is a favourite with the bookies, this week the viewing figures from the first two weeks leaked – showing Anton Stephans in first place.
