Jennifer Aniston recently revealed in an interview that her first love passed away after a long battle from cancer.
"She made a life choice, but so did he"
She said: "He was my first love — five years we were together.
"He would have been the one! But I was 25, and I was stupid."
While she never said the man's name, it has since been revealed that she was speaking about ex-boyfriend Daniel McDonald, who passed away from brain cancer in 2007.
Following their breakup, however, Daniel went on to marry actress and filmmaker Mujah Muraini-Melehi - and she is extremely unhappy about the fact that Jennifer is speaking about him in interviews.
Mujah told Inside Edition: "Daniel and Jennifer had a relationship over 20 years ago, when they were both still very young.
"She made a life choice, but so did he."
She continued: "I am sorry that Jennifer did not realise the treasure that was Daniel when she had the chance, long before he and I met and long before he died.
"It pains me to read the headlines that allude to her losing him tragically when in fact she was not present during his long and difficult illness."
Mujah even claimed that, despite trying to reach out to Jennifer after Daniel's death, the Friends star seems uninterested in what she had to say.
She explained: "After Daniel died, I reached out to her to give her back all the photographs from the time they were together.
"I never got an answer back from her."
However Daniel's widow has revealed she hopes her late husband did teach Jennifer Aniston to appreciate people more.
"Perhaps Daniel's gift was to teach her how to love, and to appreciate what she has with Justin Theroux," she said.
Do you agree with Daniel's widow - is it unfair of Jennifer to speak about him as her 'first love' now that he has died? Or do you think that she has just as much right to grieve? Let us know your thoughts via the comments box below now.
