The 43-year-old, real name Deirdre Kelly, will help those relying on income support to find work.

Dee’s agent Barry Tomes told The Sun: “She will show people on benefits that it doesn’t have to be a way of life – there is a way back.”

Birmingham native Dee will work with Debra Ball, who runs a housing association for vulnerable people, on the show called There’s Help Out There.

After shooting to fame on the controversial Benefits Street last year, mum-of-two Dee landed an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.

Following her time on the Channel 5 reality show, Dee released her own fitness DVD and, earlier this year, Barry confirmed she is well on her way to earning her first million.

He said: “My prediction is that by the end of 2015 she will have earned around half a million pounds.

“She’s well on her way to becoming a millionaire. I keep telling her to buy a new house to give her more privacy but she has no intention of leaving [James Turner] street, she loves it there.”
