The American dancer showed he had no hard feelings, gushing:

‘She’s an amazing person, an amazing woman, and we are good friends.’

When asked how he was doing following the split, the 28-year-old added:

‘I’m well, I’m tired but I’m well. I just got back from Australia, I was doing a little bit of dancing there.’

Following confirmation of the split from Chezza’s spokesperson, the Fight For This Love star took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support.

'Sometimes I just sit here by myself wondering why you're all so kind and nice and caring towards me. It's gets overwhelming. #soldiers.

'Thank you for everything I mean that from the [heart] I love you. You're amazing,’ she tweeted.

Cheryl, who turned 30 in June, was pictured with Tre at Wembley stadium watching an American football match last month. However the couple are said to have broken up in June.

A source revealed: ‘Cheryl and Tre have tried to make it work but the long-distance relationship and work commitments got the better of them. They actually split up in June.

‘It was a mutual decision so there’s no bad feelings. They want to remain good friends.’

Tre confirmed they had attended the match as friends, explaining:

‘She got us tickets and we got on the field — she was awesome.’
