On last week’s episode, 19 year-old Lucy was labelled ‘the town bike’ and ‘the boyfriend stealer’ but in an interview with Reveal magazine she says she has been set up by the ITV2 show producers.

In the said episode, Lucy went on a date with Kirk but coincidentally bumped into his ex-girlfriend Lauren Pope and her friend Maria. In the crowded bar Maria lashed out at the fashion worker, calling her a 'slag' and 'the town bike' causing Lucy to burst into tears.

In the interview, Lucy admitted: ‘I’m a bit sick of it. I feel like I’m being victimised. I’m not friends with Lauren so I don’t feel like I owe anything to her. Kirk and I were both single so I didn’t think there was anything wrong with going out for a drink.’

In the previous season of TOWIE Lucy was dating Mark Wright, but constantly found herself caught up in fights between Mark and his previous girlfriend (now fiancée) Lauren Goodger.

But Lucy insists she and Mark were the real deal.

'Mark and I were in a proper relationship. I was with him before the show started. He chased me and we went out loads - he took me to lovely restaurants and the theatre. But no one saw that, all you saw were the dramas with Lauren.'

‘After Mark and I split, all I did was go for a drink with Kirk,' she says. 'If that's what being a slag is, then there's no hope!'

With Kirk and Lauren now back together, Lucy admitted to newbie Joey Essex that she fancied him at Harry’s birthday party. But she was quickly struck back when he admitted he’d moved on from trying with her now and was now after her friend Sam Faiers.

Lucy states she’s not bothered and was never highly strung on the tanned action man. 'He's not really my type - he's not manly enough,' she says. 'And I didn't like his tan - he is glowing!'
