Tom and Giovanna took baby Buzz to hospital when he became unwell.

The McFly singer tweeted from the waiting room: ‘Today has been eventful. 5hrs in a NHS waiting room with a 9 day old baby.

We were “next to be seen” for 3hrs. #CouldHaveWatchedTitanic.’

He then reassured worried fans, tweeting afterwards: ‘Buzz is doing fine. He’s just cranky at the hospital for not prioritising a newborn over silly accident prone kids with twisted ankles ;)’

Tom let his fans know that Buzz is well and truly in the mend as he tweeted a photo of him and wife Giovanna with baby Buzz, captioning the snap with: ‘Buzz is 2 weeks old today and we're all looking forward to finally getting out of the hospital this afternoon! Whoop!!!!’

What a relief!

Tom became a dad just under 2 weeks ago

It seems that Tom is enjoying life as a new dad, though he has been vocal about not getting much sleep, something that goes hand-in-hand with taking care of a newborn.

He’s also been making jokes about poor Giovanna’s ‘leaking.’

‘Is it inappropriate to MOO at my wife when her boobs are leaking breast milk?’ the pop star cheekily wrote.

Tom's baby bump video was shared by Russell Crowe

Tom celebrated the birth of his first son by sharing an adorable video charting wife Giovanna’s pregnancy, and A-listers such as Russell Crowe have even retweeted the amazing video.

Tom tweeted excitedly: ‘Erm... THE Russell Crowe just tweeted a link to Bump to Buzz.......... Amazing!’
