Announcing the tidings of joy on her Twitter account, Tina wrote: 'proud to announce the arrival of our BABY GIRL,cant wait to spend xmas as a family.xxxx'
The birth came after Tina had told The Mirror that she had been feeling unwell and feared her daughter would make an early arrival.
She said: 'The last thing I need is to be rushed to hospital sooner than expected and have to rely on my husband to bring me my breast pads and nighties.'
Tina continued: 'It’s hard to believe I’m so close now. I just have to hope Flame decides to stick to the appointed date – December 31 – and not show up early!'
Rather than stick with more traditional names, Tina opted to go with something more unusual, naming her baby daughter Flame.
The actress and her husband of three years revealed earlier this year that they were beginning IVF treatment in a bid to have a baby.
After succeeding in falling pregnant with twins, Tina was left devastated after one of the babies died.
Tina already has a 31-year-old daughter from a previous relationship and was forced to defend her decision to have a baby at a more mature age of 50.
She said in response to critics: 'People can call me a silly, fat, selfish old b***h. I truly don't care… I'm having a baby with the man I love and that's no one else's business but ours.'
Congratulations, Tina! What do you think of her daughter's unusual name?
