Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote has hit back at accusations, after she was pictured looking flirty with her dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

The 24-year-old insists she's things are great between her and boyfriend Sean Ward – and to suggest otherwise is 'unfair'.

Georgia told The Sun: "It's nothing to worry about. I'm in a very happy relationship so I don't think it's fair when people say that. My hunk is at home.

"Sean is just excited I'm doing this. We had a lovely romantic holiday in Gran Canaria [before Strictly]. Everyone called me orange but I was like, 'No! It's an actual holiday tan – not a spray tan'."

Newlywed Peter Andre has also insisted he and wife Emily MacDonagh will not be falling victim to the alleged curse.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Pete said: "We've only been married a month and a half! She's the most understanding, wonderful person. That makes me very lucky and I won't take her for granted."

Previous victims of the Strictly 'curse' have included Matt di Angelo, Ben Cohen and Joe Calzaghe.
