Strictly Come Dancing ‘putting strain on Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright’s relationship’

Speaking honestly, Mark, 27, confessed that he is finding it hard filming for the dancing show in London while Michelle, 27, is in Manchester filming new BBC drama Ordinary Lies.

He told 3AM: “Yes, it’s difficult.

"We’re both very busy at the moment, it’s not been easy."

He added: “But our relationship is special, so when I see her, it’s like meeting her for the first time.

"I’d like to see her every day but we can’t, so we try not to let it pressure us.”

Mark, who has lost a stone in weight due to five-hour-a-day's worth of dance rehearsals for Strictly, added that the couple have racked up their phone bills in a bid to make their long-distance relationship work.

He said: “We speak ­whenever we can. If I am on a break I’ll pick the phone up and if she is on a break she calls me.

"We keep in contact a lot.”
