Stacey Solomon looked incredible in paparazzi pictures from her recent trip to Lake Como. But Closer can reveal that the TV personality, 35, has been working hard to not only look good in her bikini, but also to get her body ready for another baby.

Stacey is already mum to Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships, and shares Rex, six, Rose, three, and two-year-old Belle with her husband of almost three years, Joe Swash. And our insider reveals that the Loose Women star is hoping to add to her brood.

‘Stacey really wants to go back to the gym and is on the hunt for a new PT,’ they say of the presenter, who recently joked that seeing cartoon character Mummy Pig have a baby had made her broody. ‘She wants to tone her body and build her strength – ready for baby number six.’

But while Stacey’s recent weight loss may look dramatic, our insider insists that she has done it all without the help of Ozempic injections.

They continue, ‘Stacey hasn’t been hitting the gym or using any “skinny jabs”. But she’s been eating smaller meals and eating more frequently and avoiding all the crisps and treats. She’s also put the weight loss down to being a busy mum. Between running around looking after her kids and their many pets, and getting her hands dirty in the garden, she’s on the go all day long and rarely has time to sit and eat a big meal. Stacey hates the scales, and goes by what she sees in the mirror and how her clothes fit. She has gone down two dress sizes but isn’t governed by sizes and labels – she wears what feels and looks good.

‘Like every woman, Stacey has her less likeable areas. But her tummy looks incredible after having five kids – and after she’s had each baby, she’s got into better shape than before!’

However, Stacey’s amazing bikini body isn’t just down to her hopes for another baby.  Flaunting her figure is the Sort Your Life Out presenter’s way of showing cruel online trolls who criticise her looks that she doesn’t care what they say.

Sharing photos from her trip to Instagram last week, her loyal followers were wowed by the snaps. With some branding the star as ‘absolutely beautiful’ and ‘a little ray of sunshine’, another wrote, ‘Stunning photos, stunning Stacey.’ Another added, ‘How do you have five small humans and look as gorgeous at this?! I currently have zero small humans looking like I ate two for breakfast!’ One fan said, ‘Nice to see a woman with all her curves, instead of all these women who are skin and bone. It makes us curvy women prouder.

But speaking to her 6.1 million Instagram followers earlier this month, Stacey admitted a recent ‘horrible’ comment calling her a ‘horse’ had caught her attention.

‘I don’t usually read my messages or reply to them,’ she said. ‘But this message is literally staring me in the face, it’s at the top of my comments on my last story. So I couldn’t get away from it. I don’t know if I’m supposed to be offended or take it as a compliment. But I actually think horses are really pretty.'

After being inundated with kind comments from her fans, Stacey added, ‘Love you all. Honestly, I have the best family on here ever! Genuinely, I don’t mind what people think of me. Truly, I feel bad for mean people.’

So it’s no wonder Stacey is doing everything she can to hit back at the vile online comments.

‘Over the years, Stacey has told friends that she has always been the funny one,’ the source says. ‘So feeling pretty is really special to her – and right now, she feels great. She’s finally confident in her skin! Stacey’s healthy weight loss is her ultimate revenge on the trolls.’

It’s not the first time Stacey has had to deal with awful comments. ‘Leave the modelling to others’, wrote one troll recently. Another added, ‘As fake as they come’. But the insider says that Stacey’s sunny disposition is the best way to brush off the haters. ‘Trolls have been calling Stacey names on social media recently, like “horse face”, but she is brushing it off,’ they say. ‘She knows it’s part and parcel of her life, after growing up in the spotlight from the age of 19 – she knows trolls are everywhere. But Stacey’s having the last laugh. She believes trolls live under bridges and in dark places – while she’s out in the sunshine, living her best life!’

They add, ‘As a mum, Stacey wants to show her kids that giving in to bullies is not the way forward. They are ultimately sad, unhappy people, who are jealous of others.’
