Ghost might have been made 26 years ago, but it still remains one of our favourite films of all time. The moment where Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze are sat together moulding clay became an iconic 90s film moment – before that, who knew making pottery with your other half could be so romantic?

Sarah Harding has been gracing the stage as Molly in the theatrical production, Ghost The Musical, but the former Girls Aloud singer was forced to pull out of the show halfway through her performance on Monday night.

The understudy, Kelly Hampson, was approached to fill in at the Blackpool show when, according to newspaper reports, Sarah couldn’t return to the role after the interval.

A source told The Sun Online that Sarah was using ‘powerful painkillers’ for a knee injury, and those watching the show claim that she was slurring through the infamous clay wheel scene.

Fans who saw the show were less than impressed by Sarah’s performance, taking to Twitter to express their frustration.

Sarah recently returned to the production after a three-month break following an upper respiratory tract infection.

She later sent a message to fans, saying: "Some people should learn to get thier [sic] facts right before making assumptions,"

Although she has been fighting her health battles, she is set to return to the role and we hope she makes a swift recovery!
