Sam Faiers on Mark Wright being a player: ‘The original boy about town’

The former TOWIE star is famed for her relationship with co-star Joey Essex, so many people often forget that she dated Mark Wright too.

And, while she brands Michelle Keegan’s fiancé a ‘player’ in her new book, Secrets and Lies: The Truth Behind The Headlines, Sam Faiers seems to have no hard feelings about their failed relationship.

Speaking openly with the Mail Online, she said: “He was a young good looking guy on a TV show.

“Everyone knew Mark Wright. Him and his group of mates were the boys about town.”

But Michelle Keegan needn’t worry; Sam made sure to add that she thinks her ex is DEFINITELY ready to settle down and make a life-long commitment to the Ordinary Lies actress.

“I’ve always thought that he's a real family guy at heart.

“It's all about finding that right person and now he's found the one, he's settled,” she said.

Sam added simply: “It's refreshing to see because playboys will always be playboys but there's proof in the pudding that they can fall in love and settle down.”

We have a feeling Mark would definitely agree with her on that one; earlier this year, he sat down for an interview with ITV’s Lorraine and it was clear for all to see that he was very much a man in love.

"She's a lovely girl, she's not just my fiancée, she's truly my best friend," he said at the time.

"We have so much fun and she's an absolute gem."
