We were all shocked when TOWIE favourite Amy Childs left the show earlier this year to go into Celebrity Big Brother. 'Who's going to be the Queen of the vajazzle?' was the question on everyone's lips. Obvs.

'TOWIE was a massive thing for both of us, and it would only take one phone call to show we're still friends.'

But it seems that it wasn't only her fans who were a little upset with her decision to leave the ITV2 show. After promising to stay in touch with her former co-stars and friends, it looks like Amy's lack of contact has hit a sore point with some of the TOWIE lot.

Sam Faiers has revealed that she is disappointed in her former flame-haired friend. Letting rip in her column in Star magazine, Sam said she wouldn't be bothering to big up her former pal's show after Amy failed to get behind the third series of The Only Way Is Essex.

'When she was in Celebrity Big Brother I gave her all the support in the world – I put her in my column and tweeted about her constantly. But when the last series of TOWIE started I didn't even get a text or a phone call. I feel very let down,' Sam said.

Revealing her hurt, she added: 'TOWIE was a massive thing for both of us, and it would only take one phone call to show we're still friends.'

'We're just not close any more and it's sad.'

It really has not been a great week for Sam Faiers, after she admitted feeling a ‘bit gutted’ after her former lust Mark Wright declared his love for Lauren Goodger whilst in the jungle.

Ahh, poor Sam!
