Last night saw David Cameron accuse Jeremy Corbyn of being a 'terrorist sympathiser', after Corbyn opposed proposed plans to bomb Syria during a private meeting ahead of today's crucial vote on whether Britain will go to war in Syria.
The Prime Minister's comments were met with shock, with Labour calling for the Prime Minister to apologise for his 'desperate' comments.
And the general public appear just as outraged by his name-calling, with a #terroristsympathiser hashtag beginning to trend immediately.
And singer Rebecca Ferguson has supported the backlash, making a stand against proposed plans to bomb Syria.
Taking to Instagram the former X-Factor runner-up wrote:
"No we shouldn't bomb Syria what the f_ck is wrong with us ... and no that doesn’t make me a terrorist sympathiser that makes me a human being who sympathises with innocent children being blown to bits... renewable energy ... is the thing we need!!!! stop it with the bombing Arabs for oil bullsh_t!".
Well done Rebecca.
