In April the 51-year-old wrote: “Q:: What kind of woman threatens to ‘glass you in your f…g face’? And hits when they are angry? A : a Cheshire House Wife #LegalACtion [sic].”

Singer Sinitta didn’t name the person who reportedly attacked her, but it’s been claimed that WAG Dawn Ward appeared in court today and pleaded not guilty to the crime.

It’s alleged that the showdown between the two stars took place in a Belgravia sushi restaurant.

The prosecution told Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court: “The complainant and the defendant agreed to meet in a nearby restaurant in Chelsea. Miss Malone [Sinitta] asked for the meeting to clear the air over some rumours.

“Miss Malone says Ward was aggressive and there was a verbal argument and an alleged assault by striking Miss Malone while sitting down and throwing a napkin at her. There are no injuries. There will be four witnesses, including the complainant, and three independent witnesses.”

Dawn is married to footballer Ashley Ward, and shot to fame on the ITV2 reality show The Real Housewives of Cheshire last year.

The trial is set to continue in February next year.
